Are you being shaken these days? If so, take comfort, you are one among many people who have experienced shaking, do not fret and do not fear (why) because the word of God says clearly
The righteous will not be shaken – (Psalm 112:6) …….So, call it a stir….
Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.
But, what does that mean?
Many people have lost the ability to trust because they have been hurt by an unfaithful partner or damaged by an uncaring parent.
When you cannot trust then your world becomes frightening, insecure, and unstable.
But, Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved. Here in (Psalm 125:1-5), Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore. The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.
Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
Peace be on Israel.
We meet people who have found one in whom they can trust, one who gives them stability, one who protects. We meet: A people who cannot be shaken
(Isaiah 43:2)When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
God’s people will pass through the fire yes, but they will not be burned. They will pass through deep rivers but will not be drowned. (Isaiah 43:2)
No matter what you may seem to be going through today just remember that scripture.
knowing that you are a part of the body of Christ, so that word applies to you as well.
We go through, but we get to the other side, we do not remain in it.
We will not be harmed. Isn’t that great to know?
Come on you are a walking, believing, tongue talking, faith standing, Christian just like myself, so you know when you get yourself into something that is not of your Father, repent turn away from it and never look back.
(Heb 12:25-29 )Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
“Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken.”
It means the deep and abiding certainty that “whether we live or whether we die we are the Lord’s (Rom 14:9) For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
So, It means that (Heb 13:14 ) For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
(Heb 11:10) For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
(Heb 12:28) a city that cannot be shaken —forever. (Study that for yourself).
People who put their trust in the living God are unshakeable like Mount Zion because He is unshakeable.
He is reliable, and consistent and will never fail.
So, what does it mean to trust in the Lord?
It means to depend on His care.
It means to enter into a relationship with Him where you are totally reliant on His forgiveness, His protection, and His purpose for your life.
It means no matter what, the Lord wants you to know this: “The righteous will never be shaken.”
Those things you put your trust in apart from God—people, money, positions, or something else—may be shaken, but God won’t be shaken and you won’t be shaken if you rely completely on Him.
BE BLESSED….
