What Is A Christ Loving Wife

  What  is a Christ loving wife?

(Ephesians 5:22-33) Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

 Is it being flawless?

 Is it being a perfect cook?

 Is it being a “quote on quote”  know it all?? to every question asked?

 Is it being a yes “woman” to everything?

 Is it being dressed to the nines and having that head done at all times? No, no it’s not….It’s  the total opposite.

Being a Christ loving wife is being the woman God has allowed you to grow into, learn and appreciate.

 It’s being a woman who has accepted who God created her to be and to love that woman no matter what.

It’s being a wife that prays for her husband at the drop of a dime, good or bad 

It’s having his back whether good, bad, or indifferent 

It’s loving him in all his ways and accepting him for who God created him to be as well. 

I don’t know about you but there is nothing like a man that loves God more than he does you, and places God’s word and ways above all else…..ummm, that is a turn on to me. 

 A Christ loving wife is one that respects that man God gave her. Respecting  and honoring  him in every situation.

She builds him up and never puts him down, she looks beyond his outer man into his inner man just loving on the God in him.

She says “yes” honey even when she wants to do nothing but sleep (come on woman keep it 100)

She prays with him and worships God with him, she praises with him, and  cries out to God with him.

 A Christ  loving wife puts her husband before any and everyone, but God (1peter 3:1)  If you are a wife, you must put your husband first. 

Today’s women got it  twisted thinking their kids come before their husband, 

Yeah, they got it twisted thinking they’re supposed to be the one out working while he’s at home tending to the kids

Now, come on don’t that sound a little backwards to you? 

I can remember when I worked for the Department of Defense  making a very good amount of money when the Lord told me to leave my job. 

I at first couldn’t understand why until He explained.

 I could see and understand everything He spoke to me about leaving there, and letting my husband lead, and even though others could not understand it that didn’t matter.

it was all about obedience and believe me it was not a struggle to do so.

 Why? because I trusted Him more than making 30+ thousand in 2006. 

If He said it was time to go I knew He had a much better plan….I knew that everything God promised me and my family would come true and till this day I still see His glory and favor  on our lives.

I dare not sit up here and lie and say that it has all been peaches and cream .  because that would be a lie.

 But, what I can say is this, God is the HEAD of our marriage and He always sends solutions no matter the situation.    

A Christ loving wife doesn’t always  know when she is in the wrong  but God makes her apologize for that wrong. 

 A Christ loving wife looks for her approval through God and not man, not ever her husband.  

A Christ loving wife is the one who prays first and asks questions last, knowing God will answer in the midst of that prayer.   

So, CHRIST LOVING WIVES!!! If you ever want to question what’s the difference between a Christ loving wife, and just being a wife. 

Please know the difference is God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, because living a life without them is not living life at all.

 No matter how good you think you got it.  

To walk in His presence everyday all day, there’s nothing else that can compare…TRUST and BELIEVE!!
