I’m telling you… now is not the time to quit. This is not the time to bow out and run and hide. This is a time to fight for your Christian life, for what you believe in and who you are in Jesus.
Don’t you see what’s going on around you?
yeah, in your own back yard or are you doing one of those numbers the Priest did in the bible “where he seen the need but crossed on the other side “? (Lk 10:29-37)
This is not the time to sink but to swim…..
I am not going to give the story about Peter biding Jesus to call him on the water ( Matt 14 22-33)
Its bigger than that its about putting your eyes on Him and keeping them there. I know you have probably heard this so many times but it’s truth …..
You have to keep your eyes on Jesus.
You must keep your eyes on Jesus.
He will enable you to swim without distraction and not be swayed by the wind that’s causing you to sink.
Jesus can, He will and wants to lead you through all things, if you just put your focus on him.
So, I ask? What’s your focus? Is it ( all about you)
Or ( all about what God called you here in this earth for )?
Be honest with your self.
Yes, we serve a gentle God that won’t pound you on the head because of your choices, but the Holy Spirit will help you to make wise decisions(John 14:26)
We have to make Jesus our focal point every day by starting our day with Him in quiet time through meditation and prayer.
By doing this, we have Him in mind as we go out into our day. We listen for His voice to tell us to do this or that for the good of Him.
People in this world that says there’s no need for Jesus just needs to see Him on the inside of you to change those thoughts, whether that be through a smile, a helping hand, or a kind gesture .
You can give up and sink beneath the things that don’t matter in your day to day lives or you can decide that serving Christ is just too difficult and go back to your old life, but why go back there? The only thing that’s awaiting you back there is a legion itself .
And, the enemy has beaten you.
We were not placed here to fail or give up on the race placed before us(Hebrew 12:1-2) but to run it and win it seeing Jesus right there with His banner saying “ Thanks For Swimming and not giving up”.
Have you ever noticed how some people can stay afloat when engulfed in troubles and hardships, while others sink to the bottom?
What sets the swimmers apart from the sinkers?
From what I can tell, it seems to be their faith in God’s Word and in God’s love for them.
A relationship that many don’t have.
When you know just how much God loves you, you don’t find yourself in over your head, you know He won’t let you drown or sink.
So, for those who don’t have such faith, they wear themselves out struggling just to keep their heads above water.
God doesn’t enjoy seeing us sink.
He isn’t trying to make life hard for us. He’s on our side and wants nothing more than to see us swim happy and fulfilled with our heads above the water.
(Isa . 42:2 )When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.”
So, come on and be that swimmer you were called to be.
BE BLESSED…..
