What do you do when you've been called by the Lord to separate yourself? Well, this is exactly what happened to me. Feeling some type of way all weekend, asking the Lord in my private time to help me understand what I was experiencing at that time. Little did I know He would allow me to see and hear things that I did not understand at that moment. When you ask God to reveal to you or allow you to get an understanding about a particular thing ( You Better Be Ready) for what ever He brings your way. I have to admit that at first I was confused ( but) we also know that confusion is not of the Lord.... Trying to find all things that made sense to me ( which was His Word) searching scripture upon scripture on this information that was just given to me at the most opportune time. When I searched boy ol' boy did I find....countless to say I found scriptures on this one particular thing I was being called to do from the old testament to the new and I knew I was being told to separate for a very good reason. Did I ask why? Yes, yes I did....And did He give me an answer as to why? Yes, yes He did....so, okay, that conversation was over and the act of what was being called of me had to be put into motion ( Right At That Very Moment) did it hurt? Yes, yes it hurt, and it hurt because I felt like I was missing and needing something God was protecting me from my entire walk. So, tell me this? Why did He have to bring back to my remembrance that it had not been the first separation and certainly not the last.... One important thing that I want people to know is this... that separation is not because the ( person, place, or thing) is bad, it's just not for you right now (why) maybe because God is working on you for Himself or even that person, place or thing your trying to get connected with....You don't have to know everything you just have to trust that He is all knowing and He will never lead you astray....( Psalm 32:8)
So,that takes me here....
we are to be separated from all that is contrary to God’’s will, and separated to God Himself, for His use and for His glory alone....
So why not allow the Lord to separate you from all that is displeasing to Him, and dedicate yourself to Him so that you are available to Him for service.
The Lord has given us His Word containing His commandments so that we may not have any doubt as to how He would have us to live in this earth. Having a GPS of guidance and direction for If we are ever in doubt about whether a thing is right or wrong and honestly come to the Word of God to seek an answer, we can be sure that He will give us clear guidance in the matter. HANDS DOWN!!!
IN (Psalm 4:3) it says, It is not separation to a cause, a church, a denomination or a creed; it is separation to the Lord Himself.... Acts 13:2 The Holy Spirit said, Separate Me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them…These two servants of God were setting out on a great missionary journey, and were to separate themselves to that one task; but before they separated themselves to the task they were to be separated to the Holy Spirit. Do you see how it was separation to the Lord, and then separation to the task? (2Corinthians 8:5) God wants us to place ourselves utterly and absolutely at His disposal (Romans 6:13) If we are determined to be separated men and women, by not living a worldly life, but living only for the Lord, then we should be fully prepared to make any sacrifices that will bring pleasure to our Father..... In no way God is tying to make us look foolish.....All He wants us to demonstrate in every part of our lives is to show clearly that we belong to Him...
Let me ask you this? Do others know that you are His? not only by the things you don't do, but also by the things you do? (Hebrews 13:12-13 a separated life!
