Is ordinary really ordinary?
Definition of unordinary. : not ordinary especially: being out of the ordinary: unusual, extraordinary
Definition of ordinary: with no special or distinctive features; normal.
To many one may seem to appear ordinary from the outside, but are they really ordinary on the inside?
Isn’t that what really matters? Well, to The Lord it does…So, who said and where is it in the bible where it says God chose ordinary men? Truth be told, none of God’s creation is ordinary if we could see them from the inside out… Our Father created us all in a very unique and special way that no one else can see but Him…….. You call them ordinary only because of what can be seen with the original human eye, but if we could just get a glimpse of what God put on the inside of that person from the inside as He does, whoa!! I can only imagine…….. it would blow all of our minds……We say ordinary because of their day to day duties, but those men that walked with Jesus every day were not ordinary… Those men were hand-picked from the beginning, it was not just a spare of the moment thing that Jesus did when He picked out those men to follow Him. He could have chosen anyone, but that was not the plan of God……Yes, even Judas was hand-picked ( why) because He was part of the plan. (Matt.10/Lk.5&6)
Think about it like this… Jesus came across plenty of ordinary men way before reaching the chosen 12 but God had 12 (quote on quote) ordinary men already in mind because He knew He had placed something in them that was unordinary and this was why He could mold them to do extraordinary things…
( please let’s not overlook the point)
What looks “on” ordinary to man can also look ” on ” unordinary to God because He looks at the inside ( man’s heart) not the outside. the only way you can say someone is ordinary is by looking at their outer appearance right? but not God hallelujah !!! He looks for what He already knows exist…..and that’s something no one else can see but Him, and that something is un-ordinary
Thank you, Lord, for the unordinary…Granted there are a lot of people that don’t care to be labeled as ordinary because that is how they deem themselves and aren’t interested in a relationship with Jesus, but for those of us that are (YOU’RE NOT ORDINARY)……
How is it we can say by just looking at someone that they are ordinary, just because they are doing what you call the normal (day 2 day) things like working a 9-5? But, what makes a person unordinary is “ON ” that something we cannot see…….. that something that’s on the inside your finite mind cannot even begin to understand unless God allows you to.
It’s an uncanny presence they carry with them that is most of the time described as strange, weird, or mysterious just because it’s not understood to the ” on” ordinary man…An unordinary person is that person that you look at and they do not “per se” give off that vibe you’re so used to, (so there for) they don’t ( fit in, or have that common vibe so many carry around) and it makes some uneasy to be around because they can’t quite put their finger on it……
Man, God sees us so much bigger than we often times see ourselves, but that was never His plan. The plan of God was to see ourselves as Him and to live as Him with all of His gifts and abilities right here on earth…… so many are walking around with a mistaken identity they’ve allowed others to put on them instead of God……
Be marked by God, not man…
We need to start seeing ourselves as God sees us and start viewing ourselves as God views us and that is;

So, from here on out let’s see ourselves more than ordinary because we are.
