Have you ever wondered how many gifts you’ve been gifted by God?
1 Peter 4:10, 11
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Have you ever realized that all of your God given gifts are not discovered at the same time?
Do you ever wonder if the gift/ gifts you were gifted with will ever get recognized for Gods glory and not your own?
Well honey!! Let me put a bug in your ear….those gifts that you were gifted with are not for you.. but for those God has placed on your path while here in this earth..
I know some of you are probably saying ” well how can that be” …it’s that way because – anything that God allows us to have is never for us…..
His picture for what He allows us to have is always soooooo much bigger than what we can think or imagine.
Eph.2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
This is why jealousy cannot and should not be in the equator when looking on another believers skills, talents, and gifts, because we are all created uniquely, and (us) ” you and me “, with all our uniqueness gives glory to God, and it allows us to meet the needs of others……
James 3:14-15 – But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
Think on this for a moment….Are we all not children of the Heavenly Father?
Has He not given us all gifts and talents to help us discover our potential?
Has He not already placed within us these gifts we didn’t know we had until returning back to Him, our rightful owner?
So, as we discover what these gifts and talents are let’s stay mindful of His worthiness that He has chosen to put on the inside of us ( WHY )because we are His children, which makes us (a chip off the ole block) – which then enables us to draw closer to Him and help others do likewise…
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 7:25
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
