Can we be honest, with ourselves?
Isn’t it true, we always want God to be and act a certain way. Handle this and that situation our way, or replace and remove this thing or that??? Come on be honest….
But, truth be told, He doesn’t comply to our way of wanting things done. I mean come on He’s God! He knows what we need more than we do….Right?
He knows the correct way of doing things, and how He wants them done…and He don’t need us to try and tell Him how to do it….or, how it should operate!
I mean isn’t that the reason why we go to Him in the first place, right? Because we are seeking His help?
For Him to work it out?
Let’s be reminded of this scripture (Isaiah 40:13-14)
Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord, or instruct the Lord as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding?
You see, the only problem with that box, we try and confine Him to, is that it’s way to small and can’t contain Him…..
Let’s face it we serve an Awesome, Mighty, Eternal, Majestic, Expansive and All-Knowing God, who will eventually come bursting out of any box that try and contain Him.
We have to allow God the freedom to do things His way.
When we listen to the Lord through the Holy Spirit, do what He says, and trust Him, then and only then, can He accomplish life-changing things through us for other people(Matthew 5:16)In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
