Question, have you ever just stopped and thanked God for your husband?
For his union with Him (God)?
For Him (God) being (your husband’s) example for leading you, his family? If not you need to!
I know that the Bible says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.“(Prov.18:22).
However, so do we! When we find a husband, we find a good thing, Amen!
God had this marriage, called (Union) mapped out from the very beginning. Starting with Adam and Eve.(Gen. 2:18)And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
So, to be thankful for our husbands is an understatement.
Come on!! He gave us a man made in His image….And, of course we are too! However, I know the image God was talking about was spiritual. But, can we talk about the physical image of the man God gave us? (Genesis 1:27)So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God made them strong, tall, (some short) built, deep-voiced, handsome, good with their hands, and intelligent!
I know He made us for them – But Oh, how we benefit
Thank you God! Thank you for the husband You allowed me to be joined together with!(Mat. 19:6))So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
We have to be thankful for their prayers over us, and for their warm, strong arms that wrap around us so tenderly.
Ladies, let’s never take what God gives us for granted. We should always be appreciative for Him always having us on His mind when choosing them for us, Amen!
They are here to care for us, to protect us, to provide for us. They are here to lead our kids by example, in His order…(Proverbs 22:6Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Oh, how much we have to be thankful for!
“Thank you Father, that you knew us both before we were formed in our mother’s womb! And called us fit for one another! “Thank you for entrusting me with your precious masterpiece.” (Eph. 2:10)For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Father, as you entrust me with his heart and all that you have gifted him with for me and others, I take full responsibility for sheltering his gifts, heart, love, character and talents…
I promise to only speak words of love and respect and encouragement as You lead us along Your way of righteousness.
I will love him as You love me. (Psa. 5:8)LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before me.
Thank You Father, for the qualities you’ve equipped within him, which helps me to be a better person.
Father, I know I could never have done better for myself, as you have done for me, when it comes to you sending me a husband, and him a wife…
Thank you for seeing us as (One) in Your eyes.
(Mark 10:19)What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Thank You Father, that You gave me not only a husband, but a friend, a protector, a provider, a head, and a covering in You.
Thank you Father for the helpmate you gave to be right by my side, in this life’s journey! (Eph. 5:22)Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Father, the one thing I love the most about this man you allow me to call my husband is, his love, honor, gratitude, and respect he has for You. (Deut, 6:5)And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
Father, when he calls on Your name it’s as if You’re the Only One that’s in the room with him, as he prays aloud and praises You! I see it as my gain. ( Psa. 35:28)Then my tongue shall tell of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.
Father, I call it my gain, because You have taught me in my relationship with him, how to love stronger, trust harder, stand longer, and walk this faith walk with all that I am in You.
So, Thank You Father, for sending me a husband that teaches me that Your love never fails, it never gives up, and it will never run out on me! He has taught me to never grow weary of the gifts You have placed on the inside of me, for this moment and time, right now!Thank you Father, for teaching him how to teach me, how to always keep my eyes on You! At all times! No matter what!
Thank you Father, for teaching him how to teach me, how to always keep my eyes on You! At all times! No matter what!
So Yes, Thank you! Again and Again and Again!!
I am so grateful, as well as thankful, for Your love towards me!
Be Blessed…
