Your Peace I Need

Finding Gods Peace & Calm

Finding peace in the calm is a way of saying “finding peace when you know that all but heaven is about to break loose, and having no where to look but up” (Psalm 121: 1-2) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

So why go to a place of complete disarray in your mind where all the worries of Satan await……why not breakthrough that place in your mind and find that place of zoning in on God and His promises……..

Those promises He invites you to walk in everyday like the peace which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7)And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

With all the many things Jesus left for us including His qualities He knew we would need most in this world His peace, and this He knew we would need more than money or physical possession, it was His peace in which he lived and operated in everyday while on earth.

The world was searching for peace then and even more now today, but there’s no real peace outside of the Prince of peace and peace is a legal right of yours If you’re a believer.

The only way to live in this peace, you must put yourself there by only focusing on the One who left it for you…on God

You must remain confident in God and in His Word to gain this peace He speaks about by

Resting in His character, Trusting in His power, Believing in His Word,

( Psalm 62:5-8)

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;

my hope comes from him.

6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;

he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[a];

he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

8 Trust in him at all times, you people;

pour out your hearts to him,

for God is our refuge.

With lives being tossed to and fro everyday by the wants and desires of the flesh which in turn confines one’s ability to fully live and remain in the Spirit of Christ, and enjoy daily communion with Him

Some of you may be so immune to feeling this way that you can’t even realize just how much it blocks your oneness, energy, and focus or see how much it interferes with the relationships that are dear to you and ultimately your relationship to God.

What you first and foremost need to know is this, and that is that you are not by yourself and that this is no surprise to the Lord and He is with you in it all, ( why) because He loves you.

Do you remember when the Lord told Joshua the courageous, bold, and brave leader in Israel.”who followed the Lord entirely spoke

in (Joshua 1:9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go..

When Christ died He not only left us with His Spirit, but He also left us with His willpower which was spoken to His disciples, who followed Him, not silver not gold, but something He knew they would need, which was far better and that was – His PEACE…..

Whenever you find yourself overcome with worry and fear

and agonizing over things you have little to no control over remember that with Christ nothing is impossible.(Luke 1:37) and all things are possible (Mark 9:23) and He is able (Ephesians 3:20)

When we understand that we are weak and learn how to look to Christ and cling to Him, we will begin to experience Christ as our calm, our peace, our strong tower and everything else we are longing for, that can only be found in Him…..(.John 14:27)

He said “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid

.

Be Blessed…..
