My Hearts Desire….

What is it to have a heart for God?

(Psalm 51:10) Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me.

( Psa. 1:2) But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night.

Why does it require you being One with Him to hear from Him ?(John 10:27)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

( Psa. 37:23)

The steps of a good (righteous, born-again) person are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

How do I know it’s God talking? (John 8:47)

Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

( John 10:3-5)

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

The bottom line of it all is this, if you want a heart for God follow this …”Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8)

We know that God can see things about us that no one else can see, yeah!! those deep hidden things.

The things we want to keep hidden, those inner thoughts and desires that y family and friends have no clue about that’s roaming around in your heart and mind.

Developing a heart for God is us concerning our heart with the concerns of God’s heart, which is recognizing His grace and mercy. Which is also Humility.

(Matt. 6:21)

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Are you Making yourself available to God for Him to use you.(Romans 6:16)

Let’s think about what God said about David…(Acts 13:22) And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

what exactly does that mean? Come on, it can’t be that hard to figure out….

It has to mean that your heart is loving the things that God’s heart loves, like righteousness…A heart that loves people. ( all people). A heart that’s compelled to give mercy and grace, A heart that loves to help others and want to see them free from bondage. And, most importantly, A heart that desires to obey and walk according to His will and ways.( John 14:24)

This scripture to me has to be the epitome of one after God’s heart (Psalm 63:1–8) surely it has to be…..

Asking God to examine your heart and make it more like David’s, Asking Him to create a heart in you that loves Him with all your might, strength, and mind.

(Psalm 139:23-24 / Psalm 26:2)

(Matthew 22:37)

That’s a heart that honors and glorifies the Father with great pleasure.

Hearing from God isn’t about formulas and gimmicks. It’s all about developing a relationship with Him that will open you to hear Him speaking to you clearly, and on a regular basis. ( John 10:27)

Isaiah 28:23

The closer you get to God, the more you can enjoy engaging conversations with Him, conversations unlike any you’ve ever had.. not only hearing but listening as well.

God will use those conversations little by little to transform you into the person He wants and needs you to be. (Romans 12:2) (James 1:22 -25)

God’s conversations are meaningful and they are for a reason. He is not just talking to be talking. He is entrusting you to carry out His instructions, whether that be, go here, go there, do this or do that.

You have to make up in your heart that you totally committed to putting His steps into action for your life and fulfilling the purpose He has for you even if it is challenging? (Galatians 6:9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

This is why you have to grow to learn His voice better than you know your own, so you don’t get deceived by the many voices out there. Including your own.

Your most important goal should be becoming spiritually connected to God so He can develop you to maturity and become one in close relationship with Him.

Once you start having conversations with God and He starts to disclose certain things to you, you’re going to want to hear from Him more and more. You’re going to be looking for Him to speak with you All The Time!!! But, no matter how much you want to hear from Him you’ll only hear from Him when He chooses to communicate with you.

My advice is; during those times of silence try and focus on what He last told you, and get to a place of developing a more deep, respectful relationship with Him and wait for Him to deliver the next message to you. ( Psa. 27:14)

Wait for the Lord;

be strong and take heart

and wait for the Lord.

You see this is how you and God’s relationship will work; the ball is always in His court, as to when He speaks or what He reveals, and you will have to develop Spiritual patience. (Romans 8:25 ) But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them.’”(Isaiah 43:7)

Please know that God created each and everyone of us for Himself, and we have a choice of free will to follow Him or not.
