Let’s start this one off like this…..
(1 Corinthians 2:16)
for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
How do you even begin to develop a mind of Christ? Is it even possible to do so in a world so cold? and the -people in it – just as cold?
Well, one thing for sure is this, If we have the mind of Christ, what was His purpose for us having it??
If we tend to become like those whom we spend the most of our time with, “How are you looking”? Are you looking more and more like Christ, or someone else?
Why all the questions you may ask, well…. How else are you supposed to think about a question like that without being asked…with me asking you a question like that I bet it will at least make you realize that you just may have more work to do. If you want to look like Christ, you also have to have His mind, and you do this by developing a new way of thinking ……..
What does that look like anyways, the mind of Christ? and why was it given to every believer? Let’s find these answers out together….
One thing I can tell you is this. If we were given the mind of Christ it was for a reason and that reason is for you to put Him first place at any and all cost and to replicate Him in this earth for others to see Him through you, and then want Him just as bad……..
How does one see Christ in you? Come on and let’s find out.
To look at life from Christ’s point of view that means having His values and desires in mind. It means to think God’s thoughts and not think as the world thinks.
When we have the mind of Christ, it is imperative (to be and look different) in the eyes of a carnal man. This involves wisdom from God, which He wants us to have according to (James 1:5)If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
This God given wisdom cannot be understood by those that it’s given to without the help of the Spirit of God. When we as believers have the mind of Christ, we also have discernment in all spiritual circumstances……
When we as believers have the mind of Christ, we understand God’s plan for the world and the people in it, by Him wanting to get salvation to the lost at all cost.. We also have the understanding that He wants to bring about His purpose in this earth so that all men can be saved…..as well as have a desire to bring glory to His name…..And, for you to develop a fire on the inside of them so they can provide the understanding of salvation for all those who are lost in return… And, to have an understanding as well as a mental view where humility, compassion, love, faith, obedience and dependence on Him is concerned.
We also have the understanding that He wants to bring about His purpose in this earth so that all men can be saved…..as well as have a desire to bring glory to His name…..And, for you to develop a fire on the inside of them so they can provide the understanding of salvation for all those who are lost in return… And, to have an understanding as well as a mental view where humility, compassion, love, faith, obedience and dependence on Him is concerned.
So, how do you develop your Christ-like mind……We do this by taking our thoughts captive by; reading, memorizing, and meditating on Scripture; spending consistent time in the presence of Christ; and leaning daily on a like-minded accountability partner.

When did you receive this Christ like mind?……Scripture tells us once we accept His free gift of salvation, we’re given the mind of Christ. However, you have to be the one to spend the time in going deeper and deeper in Him (Ephesians 2:8)

What is the purpose of us as His followers to have His mind?
Well, He first created us to have fellowship with Him, and how can we have fellowship with Him, if we are not like minded…… ( Romans 8:7) The natural mind cannot receive the things of God. Paul says that the sinful mind or carnal mind is hostile to God. It hates the very things of God and cannot please God because it is impossible to walk according to his ways while following the desires of the flesh.

The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
The mind of Christ looks like Christ!!
It walks like Him
It talks like Him
It loves like Him, and the mind of Christ wants;
To develop His heart
To obey the Fathers commands like Him
To walk this earth with faith and laugh at fear at all costs….that’s what the mind of Christ looks like, and so much more…..
Allowing others to see Christ in you!!
Paul spoke about this in (Galatians 2:20) “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
When you can (Love) someone who doesn’t deserve your love, or treat you well, this is one of the biggest demonstrations you can show a carnal minded man…. that’s what Jesus did, and He instructed us His followers to do the same thing.
(Romans 5:8)But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Those living without Christ only know how to show conditional love, which is selfish love, unreliable love, which is that love they can take back when they get mad at you….. But when you can show another the God kind of love – a love that is sacrificial and without limitation, unbiased, and unconditional – others can’t help but see Jesus in you.
(Forgiveness) is something else that shows who you are in Christ…Yeah, another big one..(Colossians 3:13) instructs us: “as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.” Please do yourself the favor and let go of the burdens, the bitterness, the resentment and forgive those that have wronged you, lied on you and so much more, ( why) because when you do, others will see Christ in you.
(Ephesians 4:32) Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
