Stability starts with Jesus...

What Is True Stability???

(Me) God, I just want to have stability and be stable….

(God) You are stable, your stability is in Me, Saith the Lord…..

That’s what God spoke to me years ago – that use to be my thinking, because this is what I thought being stable was, having a permanent roof over your head – and that isn’t stability at all.

Being stable isn’t because you have a roof over you head, or a vehicle to drive, nor is it because of your job, oh’ no……

True stability is in your relationship to God….

That’s the one reliable, immovable, thing every believer should strive for.(1 Corinthians 15:58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

To the people that belong to this world (YES) having worldly possessions is their stability, it’s in what (they) can see, and in what they have that makes them feel stable, but for a God fearing believer, their stability is in Christ.(1 John 2: 15 -17)
15Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

So, my question to you is…Are You Stable?

The definition of Stability; is something steady, not prone to change.

What comes to mind when you hear the word “Stability”?

(Isaiah 33:6) And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure.

It’s sad to say, but a lot of people live their lives believing that they are stable because they have this or that, but the hard truth is, that’s not stability at all.

True stability is only when you come to know Christ, live for Christ, Obey Christ, and place your all in Him, for Him.

Look at it like this….. If the definition of stability is “ something steady, not prone to change”, I guess your not as stable as you think you are…. (why)? because things are subject to change in a person’s life, at any giving moment and then, there goes your stability.

Whether you feel your stability is in your;
( job, money, home, car, family or relationships) it’s all prone to change, but not your stability in Christ!!

His love for you, and His Word over you, will never change.( Malachi 3:6)
“I am the LORD, and I do not change

God’s love for you will never change.( John 3:16)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

(Romans 8:38–39)
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God desires that even as this world changes, and the systems of man fail, we’ll remain stable in Him, no matter what.( 1 John 2:17) And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Lets face it….. everything about your situation and circumstances will change, whether good bad or indifferent, because you just don’t know what’s to come living in an uncertain world, but living for God you can be confident that your lives can remain stable in His love for you.(Psalm 91:14) The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.

The only stability a believer needs in their life is their stability in Christ. If your stability remains in Him everything else will fall into line.(Philippians 4:19) And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Stop thinking because you have things “ your stable”……it’s only when you become immovable in the Lord, is when you can say “ you’re 100% stable”…..

If you’re desiring to live a life of  stability, you’re going to have to pursue Him with everything you got.
(Matthew 6:33) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

He must become what you live, breathe, eat, and sleep. It may sound a little extreme, but in order for you to be the best example of who He is for others to see, you have to learn His protocol, grow in His character, and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you everything about Him, and that’s going to take time, patience, and faith which must be put into daily practice. (Jeremiah 29:13) If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

You’ll actually know when you’ve reached that place of spiritual stability, because it’s a place of knowing, endurance, peace, and patience, and when you’ve achieved that, then you can be sure of your spiritual stability in Christ.

It’s in that place where your responses are biblically sound, thoughtful, loving, unwavering, unshakable, and immovable — not worldly….which is emotional, unstable, and uncontrolled.(James 1:8) Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

You’ll be able to stand up to trials and tribulations that comes along with being in this world, because you understand God’s reasons, and you trust His promises. (John 16:33) I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Be Blessed…
