I have a serious question for you? If Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil..
where do you think you’ll be led?(Matthew 4:1)Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
If you think your life walking with Christ is going to be all peaches and cream, or roses without some thorns, you have another thing coming…..( Matthew 10:22)And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved.
If you’re living a life for Christ…. everything you go through is just part of your training.
It’s there to teach you, grow you, and prepare you for what He has coming next…(Hebrews 12:8-11) God trains all his children. But what if he doesn’t train you? Then you are not really his children. You are not God’s true sons and daughters at all. Besides, we have all had human fathers who trained us. We respected them for it. How much more should we be trained by the Father of spirits and live! Our parents trained us for a little while. They did what they thought was best. But God trains us for our good. He does this so we may share in his holiness. No training seems pleasant at the time. In fact, it seems painful. But later on it produces a harvest of godliness and peace. It does this for those who have been trained by it.
Yep! Gods people, God has some training for you to go through.
He is going to peel you back like an onion layer by layer, and then replace in you – His fruits, character, and love, and then allow them to be seen by all.(Matthew 5:14-16)Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
He does this to remove that Worldly stink off of you?(Ezekiel 36:25) I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
When you live for this World, verses living for the Kingdom, you develop a significant smell about yourself that is identifiable to the devil and his camp …just like the kingdom of heaven has its own aroma that’s identifiable to God and his Army. (Ephesians 5:2 (Corinthians 2:15) Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
So, are you ready to go through some things??
Are you ready to go through the PRUNING process?(John 15:2) Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
God will set you apart for a lifetime of fruit bearing… its called “ intentional pruning”…(Romans 8:30)And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.
He’ll be cutting away all the stuff that’s hindering growth.
Yes, each pruning process, “per person” will be different for sure, because we all need different things in different areas, but we have to allow Him to do it no matter how uncomfortable it may be, and trust the process because it’s all for our better good..(Proverbs 3:5)Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Trust me pruning is vitally important if you’re going to walk a life for Christ in this World, and be an example for others.(Titus 2:7)And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.
If only we could see from God’s perspective of what He sees in us, it would probably be a lot more easier as Believers to say “ ok, God rid me of that, and that, and okay that too, and let’s not overlook this one”, but it doesn’t work like that does it…..
For a lot of Believers it’s hard to give up what they know, and what’s familiar to them, and this is the reason for the process of pruning.
Because the pruning process takes place spiritually, it’s not something you endure physically. But…after it has been completed you will bear more fruits.
Ok, So What is bearing fruit? Basically, it’s becoming like Jesus.
Spiritual fruit will show itself in your life, as in your character and your outlook.
As you spend time with Jesus and get to know Him better, His thoughts will become your thoughts, and His purpose will become your purpose.
You will become more like Him.( ( John 15:8)This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
(Galatians 5:22-25)But (it’s) the Holy Spirit (that) produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
If you would just let God have His way with the pruning process. The end results would be so amazingly gratifying!!
Shouldn’t your relationship with God be so much more than just going to church on Sunday, or reading the Word as a duty?
He wants more from you, He longs to have a close, personal, intimate relationship with each and every one of us.
(Isaiah43:7;1Corinthians 1:9 ) everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Just as it describes in the Word…. God the Father is the vinedresser, Jesus is the vine, and the Believers are the branches that’s attached to the vine.
And just like the life of the branch is found in the vine, the life of the Believer is found in Jesus our Lord.
Jesus is the life source to every Believer and it is only in Him that we, as Believers can be fruitful and multiply in life and in our faith.
How can God give us His best? If we don’t give our self to Him? (John 3:16) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
Living a sold out life for God, may not be what you thought it would be in your mind or what you wanted, but trust me, it’ll be exactly what you need. (Galatians 2:20)My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Not only that, but a guarantee greater than anything you could’ve ever asked for! (Ephesians 1:14)The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
Please know that God’s process for your life is definitely for a purpose.(Psalms 57:2) I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me.
Be Blessed……
