What do you think about when you hear the word RE-BIRTH? Did you know all Born Again Believers went through a rebirthing process?
Before we are saved and go through this spiritual rebirthing process we are all seen to God as sinners(Romans 5:8)But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Slaves to sin, that is (Psalms 51:5)For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.
Sin became our human nature after Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden and got kicked out(Genesis 3:23-24)
So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
That disobedience was what brought sin and death into the world. And because we are born into this world it makes us their descendants and it also makes us cursed with sin nature(Romans 5:12)When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
What that means is this, everyone born, will be born into a life that is going to go against the will of God, until you get rebirthed with the same Spirit and be rejoined to the Father our creator(1Corinthians 2:14) The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. Sin, no matter how you look at it is an infringement against God .
He created us for His Glory and fellowship (1 Corinthians 1:9) God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
That fall placed us all under the same curse (Genesis 3:17)And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Okay, enough talk about the sin and curse we all are born into, let’s focus on the way to get from under it…..And that is only through our rebirthing process…(Romans 10:9)If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Our rebirthing process is within God, for God, and for His use…..As was planned from the very beginning(Isaiah 43:7) Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them.’
The rebirthing process is breaking you from the curse, and releasing you into freedom. That’s something to be excited about, I’d say!!(Romans 6:18)Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
What happens during this rebirthing process?
(Us) you and I, as Born Again Believers, from the inside out has been stripped down, all the way down to the core of who we never were –
And God with His loving kindness and grace in His own power, has formed, molded, and created us just as He did Jesus.
And He placed in us everything of Himself, so He can have us for Himself
Please understand this, that our rebirthing process is nothing like us being born to a natural woman( in travail ) – oh no, it’s no comparison actually.
The rebirthing process is all spiritual……It’s a spiritual birthing and it brings Him great delight…..
That’s why it’s called (re – birth) because it’s a reconnection….unlike the birth to a woman ….You’re being spiritually rebirthed, spiritually reconnected(John 1:13)Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
After this rebirthing you are no longer seen to God as you once were, but He now sees you as Himself and He has given you the right as well as the choice to become His children through Jesus Christ, and you now are….a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own possession who was called out of darkness into his marvelous light.”(1 Peter 2:9)( John 1:12) But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
Now that we are reconnected to the Father, ( Re – Birthed) let’s walk around in our God nature, and leave the sin nature behind without picking it back up……( 2 Corinthians 5:17) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!( Romans 6:18) You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
(1 John 3:6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
