I want to first start off by explaining to you what (Peace) is.
Not the world’s kind of peace but the God kind of (Peace) and yes, please know that there is a difference!
The peace offered by the world is a box of empty promises, and can only bring a sense of unfounded comfort.
It’s oh so fleeting and changes with its circumstances. Can we say (precarious)..
Unlike God’s (Peace) it’s secure, it’s permanent , and it’s always a guarantee if your mind and heart are stayed on Him.
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)
The ( Peace) that God gives us is a gift, one that is promised to you and me.
The promise of ( Peace) comes from the place where we were created from the beginning of our creation in which we resided ( with God & in God), not in fleeting and uncertain, “wish-y wash-y” times we can’t depend on.
(Matthew 6:34)”So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
In that place of (Peace) is where you hear from the Father, it’s in that place where He wraps you in His arms and assures you that He got you….
See, the world’s (Peace) is not peace at all, it’s the false appearance of ( if there is no threat, there is no problem).
When everything looks good in the Government, life is good, when there are no problems on the horizon, this is when a “small”, measure of peace comes.
The false sense of peace by the world’s standards, is simply the absence of any problems, threats, disturbances, or inconveniences.
The (Peace) we get from our Father is a (Peace) that can not be matched or compared to, it’s a sound and unmovable source that can only come from Him because it is Him! God is our ( Peace)!!
You see, the (Peace) that God gives us is not circumstantialy based, His ( Peace) is a peace that flows even in the midst of circumstances… like unto….. persecution, trouble, trials, delays, disappointments.
It’s not some-timing!!
It’s a ( Peace) you can always depend on to be around, and to show up at the right time, (why) because it resides on the inside of you, and will cater to you as often as you need it..(Isa 26:3) You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Can you say that about the “quote on quote” peace of the World? Nope, you surely cannot!!
Always remember, that God is your (Peace)..
(Ephesians 2:14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
