I know that there’s a lot going on today in this World, and everything seems to be unsteady, unsettling, uncertain, and out of control, but what you have to remember to do is, “hold on to your faith.”
How? By setting your mind on the things above (on Him)! Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
And, letting Him know that you can’t survive without Him, by knowing your place in Him, and respecting it. John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Believe it or not, your faith in God the Father is what’s going to keep you and sustain you, regardless of what is heard, or what is seen.(Psalm 54:5) Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
No matter the downfalls you may see going on with our fellow men and women of God in leadership, you have to keep your eyes on the Father.( Matthew 6:22) “The eye is the lamp of the body; so if your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive], your whole body will be full of light [benefiting from God’s precepts].
PRAYER: Father God, I come before you in Jesus name, no matter what is going on around me I will keep my eyes on you and Your Word. I will not look to the left or to the right where my distractions lay and wait for me to fall, but I will remain faithful and steadfast in You alone. In Jesus name, Amen!
I know that God knows our hearts, but did you know He still wants to hear you say those 4 words come out of your mouth “God I Trust You!”
Can we be honest with each other for a minute, and lay it all on the table?
For years now, God has truly been pulling the curtain back on those who stand in the pulpit and claim to represent Him….yep, those that are living their lives one way on the inside and another way on the outside, that’s not pleasing to Him. (1 John 1:6 )If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth;
Trust me God is not trying to make them look bad publicly or embarrass them, no, not at all!
All God is doing when He does something like that, is to show that person, and us as well, is that we need Him and will always need Him, because without Him we fall by the wayside…(Matthew 13:3-4)Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.
Our Father does not get a kick out of putting us on display, No! that is the devil’s job. John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
However, God is not going to allow the men and women that represent Him behind the pulpit to make Him look like a liar, by their deceptive actions or deeds….
God is a God of Love, Truth, Peace and Wholeness! No one will ever be able to make a mockery out of Him…No One!(1 John 4:8Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
God is such a God of Love that He gave us His Son, and left us with His Holy Spirit, so that we would not have to do anything on our own; like, make decisions that are not of Him, Amen! (1John 4:9) In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. (John 14:16-17) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.
So, Him pulling the curtain back on certain behaviors should not be surprising to any follower of Jesus Christ..Luke 12:3 Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!
God always gives you the benefit of the doubt, by trying to deliver direct impartation before allowing your dirty laundry to be publicized. It’s your choice to take heed to what’s being said and to obey!
He will always forewarn you of your misconduct, your unlike Godly behavior, your crash and burn attitude, your high and mighty demeanour ( God Complex). Yes Always! So remember if you’re behind the pulpit, (and that can also be your home pulpit as well…) and you’re living a double life, get ready for the “pull back.”
And keep in mind, this goes for all who’s in the forefront, and those behind the scenes, if you’re claiming to live for Him, by faith, and spreading His Word, and guiding His people, you will be held accountable for your wrong doing.. Not only on that day of His coming, but right now today!
Let’s not be the ones who say Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, and then try to make a mockery out of Him by moving with un-God like conduct, un-God like actions, and speaking un-Godly pagan words, or by living in an, un-God like manner that’s not pleasing to Him.(1 Corinthians 5:20)So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
And for those people who don’t truly believe that, on that day, they’ll have to answer for every isle word, and all they have done against Him, you have another thing coming…. just wait and see!( Matthew 12:36)And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. ((Matthew 7:22-23)On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
I know that we as “Beings” living in this World, and not being a part of this World’s ways and concepts won’t always get it right all of the time- but, I also know that what God has planted in us from the beginning of our existing and allows us to gain it back through Salvation, which is all of who He is, so why can’t we as human people get it right! And I don’t want to hear, “it’s because we live in a fallen World.” Well wouldn’t that be the reason for us wanting to get it right and keep it right? Right with Him and by Him? (Proverbs 14:12) There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
Listen, we may not always be perfect in actions, but we should want to be perfect enough for Him! Amen…
And in that knowledge of being perfect enough for Him, we have to represent that – that part of being perfect enough for Him to the fullest –
Why? Because people are waiting for anyone who claims to be an Ambassador for Christ to fall in one way or another, and getting caught up in foolishness is just what they thrive on, just to say things like; God’s Word doesn’t work, or it doesn’t hold any power, or that His Word is all a lie. And, that is just not true!
As we see today, It is possible to know the Bible, but not obey it or live by it. And, as we see today, It is also possible to follow Jesus, but not submit your life to Him, His ways, or His conduct. They are called “Lip Service Believer’s”.……they can talk it, but don’t choose to walk it!
But, what type of ( Christian/ Believer’s) life is that??
The problem is, people of today come up with their own perception of how they think they can live in this World for Jesus, so they just totally negate the entire ( attitude – speech – behavior – way of living and love walk – ) that they’re being told to demonstrate and uphold.
What a lot of people fail to realize ( not all), but those that conform to that pattern, is that their lives are not their own and that they are here to live a life unto God ( Gal. 2:20)My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Let’s remain mindful Christ Lovers, that He is, was, and is to come. ( Revelation 1:8)“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
So, if you remember anything, remember to hold on to your faith and stand strong in it.( 1 Corinthians 16:13)Remain alert. Keep standing firm in your faith. Keep on being courageous and strong.
