“Why the title, you may be asking, “well, I believe it was named this title because… so many followers of Christ seem to either get confused or lose their momentum in God when they realize this walk for Him isn’t all they thought it would be….
People somehow think that when they become a follower of Jesus Christ, the grass is greener, and that everything they’re going through all disappears and that’s simply not how this Jesus walk works…. Don’t get me wrong, or think that God is no fun and your life would become even more dreadful then it already is living for the world, because that would be a lie from the enemy.
But, what I am trying to say is, the proof is in the pudding, meaning, you’ll never be able to experience it through my words, but only through your own personal walk……because my life with Christ is all I’ve ever been longing for, and how did I find that out? Yep! By trying Him for myself.
Trust me, I used to think like that as well. Saying to myself, “well, maybe “my life would be easier and less trying, if I let God in,’
Yep! Been there, thought that!
But, what you as a believer should know is this! “Yes”, God has His Overall Will for all believer’s is that: Everybody be saved; Always pray in Jesus Name; As well as, That a believer not marry an unbeliever (be unequally yoked) And, That you abstain from sexual immorality; And, Love one another!
However, just as He has an overall one, He also has a personal one just for you and me likewise! One that He had planned out from the beginning of time, before we ever made it in our mother’s womb….designed especially for you and me! Believe That!
What we as followers fail to realize, is what Jesus said to us in (John 16:33)I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
That peace He speaks about in that scripture, is a peace that can only be found standing grounded in Him, and for Him! Only for Him, as you journey through this earth (Ephesians 6:11)Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil’s evil tricks.
So Yes! Our hearts must remain unbothered in the trying times that will come!
And trust, they will come, just like He said, because just as they hated Him, so will they hate you! (read- John 15:18-25).
However, our job is to continue to keep the faith, and persevere through all the troubles that come our way….
You see we have an advantage, and that advantage is God! (God With Us) Amen! He is right there with you, right where He said He’d be! All you have to do is believe it, and walk in it, with your head held high! Remembering these words along the way(Matthew 28:20) (PRTL):And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Yes sir, yes ma’am, He’s right there, never leaving your side! Hallelujah!
Okay, check this out! Living a life for God in the earth, gets a lot easier than when you were doing it alone by yourself, (why) you ask? Because now that you’re not doing it by yourself any longer, you get to experience all the promises He says He has for you in His Word!
But…… that comes with you handing over your reigns and doing it His way – 100 percent of the time….(Psalm 18:30)God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Truth be told, If you want to be a successful follower of Christ, and live heaven right here on earth, you have to do as you’re told, and be obedient to it.
Remember that God’s intention is to shape us, shape our minds in knowing that, no matter what we may go through in this life, it’s here only to refine us, not define us. Amen!
The closer you get to God, the more the Holy Spirit will start to reveal things to you, things you never thought possible. You’ll also begin to smell like Him, and because of that, you’ll begin to catch every evil eye looking your way…literally! Why, because God’s smell is all too familiar to our enemy. Satan!
yeah, you heard me right, when your life becomes intertwined with the Holy Spirit, and so deeply intimate with the lover of your soul, demons will smell that on you, and because of that, you can walk victoriously, with your head held high, knowing they can’t touch you. Amen! (2 Corinthians 2:15)For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
