Can you imagine how many people pray in fear, and wonder why their prayers go unanswered….( Phil. 4:6-7 ) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I’m speaking about ( US ) Born Again Believers who come to God in fear, asking of Him amiss (out of place or inappropriately) not having a bit of discernment to even know that it is Him speaking when He is, or an iota of obedience to obey what He says, when He says it. ( 2 Tim. 1:7 ) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Let’s get something straight, just because someone is Born Again doesn’t mean they have it all together…….
Question, If you have no relationship with Christ, how can you expect to ( hear anything, listen with an open heart, or obey His instructions?) You can’t!! ( 2 Cor. 2:14 ) The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
Do you know Him intimately? He wants you to. ( Matt. 11:28-29 ) Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.
Do you understand Him and Draw close to Him like He desires? He wants that to. ( Jam. 4:8 ) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
He wants you to understand Him on every level, by invitation of course! ( Rev. 3:20 ) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
He wants to be invited into your life so, He can reveal to you, speak to you, and show you things only He knows. ( Jer. 3:33 ) Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about
He already knows and understands every part of your life. He created you……He knows every hardship, every opposition, every joy, every pleassure, and every sadness.
He knows the number of hairs on your head, every tear you’ve ever cried, and every thought in your heart before it’s spoken.
He knows the desires of your heart, and still loves you like no other (Yes) deeply and unconditionally. Now where else are you going to find that at?? ( Psa.139:1-6 )Lord, you have examined me and you know me.
You know everything I do;
from far away you understand all my thoughts.
You see me, whether I am working or resting;
you know all my actions.
Even before I speak,
you already know what I will say.
You are all around me on every side;
you protect me with your power.
Your knowledge of me is too deep;
it is beyond my understanding.
There are so many people that go to Him in prayer and don’t know how to address Him, God is not your homie off the street. When you enter His courts (draw close to Him), you must come with Praise and Thanks, you must come to Him with Honor and Respect. ( Psa. 100:4 ) Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Please understand this, If you go to the Father in prayer, being afraid and fearful of what may happen in that circumstance in which you’re praying about, you may not get the results you’re looking or asking for.
Ask yourself, “Am I praying out of fear, or am I praying from a place of faith?” ( Psa. 56:3 ) Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Don’t be one of those believers that go to God in prayer not recognizing the fear yout praying in. if you are for any reason praying to the Father in fear, it’s going to be that thing that’s ultimately backing your prayer. And, all that’s doing is empowering the enemy.
Take a minute to think about job’s situations. In Job (chapter one), you can read how Job prayed to the Father and offered burnt offerings out of fear in case his children did something to go against God, ( Read Job chpt. 1 :4-5)
Facts Saints, whatever you fear will ultimately come upon you.( Job. 3:25 ) For the fear which I feared hath come upon me: and that which I was afraid of, hath befallen me.
Your prayers must be faith driven in order to receive the results you are seeking. He is moved by our faith! ( Matt. 10:20 ) “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
Ask yourself this question, has there ever been a time in your Pagan life where you had a thought of, “What it looks like when God answers prayers prayed in faith (verses) what it looks like when God doesn’t answer prayers not prayed in faith?
Well, it looks exactly what we have been talking about in this blog. Unanswered and Answered Prayers……that comes in ways you never expect! ( Job. 3:26 ) “I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, And I am not at rest, and yet trouble still comes [upon me].”
Now, being a believer, {we} all had to have come to some type of conclusion by walking with Him, that He most definately is a faithful and loving God who does what He says, and says what He does, as it speaks for itself throughout the bible with signs and wonders and in many instances through a humans life……..( Isa. 55:11 ) So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Jesus didn’t walk around in fear, ot pray to the Father in fear ( as He walked the earth), He didn’t go around healing people and casting out demons in fear ( hoping and (a) praying), NO! EVERYTHING!!! Jesus did He did knowing , believing, and receiving results……( Matt, 14:23, Mark. 1:35, Luk.5:16 ) So! What then could be the issue? What then could be the skepticism, the confussion! Of who He is and how He operates….Amen! He speaks and it happens! This is how God wants us to operate in this earth as well. (Eph. 5:1) Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
You have to remember that it is only because of the blood of Jesus, we get to go to the Father in prayer. It’s only because of that reason, it’s something we get to do. Amen!
however there are some that choose to not see it as an honor! But tell themselves ” I’m saved” and I’m a good person, so “I think”, He’ll answer my prayer… No! your prayers must be based in faith, and on His Word, and on what He has already spoken to you in it, not because you view yourself as a good person! You cannot go before Him hoping and ( a ) praying! Go before Him believing and receiving! Amen…( Psa. 84:11 ) For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Start seeing what you want as the outcome to be, Amen! See that child walking, see that husband or wife born again, see your grandparent getting up out of that hospital bed, coming home in total healing…..See It People! See It!! (Mark 11:24 )Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Stop, Stop, Stop! going to God praying in fear! Yes, I know you may go to God in prayer, with tears flowing and all because He is Our Father and He is compassionate, but the one moving factor for God is your faith, not your tears…… faith is what moves Him. (Jer.17:10) “I the Lord search the heart
and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”
Coming to God in prayer with no faith to back it up – Houston You Have A Problem, because nothing changes in that situation.
As hard as this may be to hear for most, crying and being emotional before God is not an un-natural thing. and He does hear their cry ( Psa. 34:17 ) When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears And rescues them from all their distress and troubles. However I want you to be reminded that it’s not your emotions that posture you into His power? No, No it doesn’t! What moves God is Your Faith!!!! Listen, I know that Our Father and Creator is the One who created our emotions and placed them in us ( yes, both negative and positive), but He is also ALL knowing, and He knows what you need or want before you ask, so go to Him with the vision and thought of seeing yourself already having what you asked for….Amen! ( Mark 11:24 )
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. ( Matt. 6:8 ) So do not be like them [praying as they do]; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
What God our Father wants us to do is identify these emotions, see them for what they are and then put His Word to work and seek Him first above anything else, and put that fear to flight. If you are operating in any type of fear express that to Him so He can show you how to fight it! Amen… (2 Tim. 1:7) “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
It’s your faith! Your faith in what you are speaking, that moves Him, not your begging, not your bargining, not your tears, not your comparison against another, of what you’re doing that another isn’t, but it’s your faith! So, stop with the manipulating prayers, manipulating prayers are fear based as well…..
So, what are manipulating prayers, manipulating prayers are prayers like; “ God, if you do this, then I will do this”, NO PEOPLE!!! Prayers like that only show Him you still have some growing to do! Remember God knows you and sees your heart, and He measures your heart by the words that you speak out of your mouth……( Matt.12:34 ) for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
God wants you to remember this as well, when you come to Him standing in the gap for someone else, that’s an act of putting on His armor and marching to the fore front on their behalf, right to the front of the line. Battling on their behalf. So, come equipped! Come fighting for that person, knowing that person can not fight for themselves. ( Eph. 6:11 ) Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
I know I wouldn’t want someone praying on my behalf with empty prayers. We have to go before the Father in faith expecting a good outcome everytime like Jesus did. Amen! ( Matt. 6:7 ) When you pray, don’t talk on and on as people do who don’t know God. They think God likes to hear long prayers.
Not for one moment allow fear, or worry to delay His plans for your life.
The only response you should have towards fear and worry should be the only thing that can defeat it. and that’s prayert! The prayer for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, clarity, and discernment, because through those things will come wise counsel, direction, and peace that only God can give, and trust me that transcends all human understanding!!
