YOU WILL BE MY WITNESS...

Can He Get A Witness..You Are A Walking Testimony…

Question, When it comes to your witnessing about God the Father and Jesus Christ, is your life a living testimony for others to see? Is your life a reflection of how good God is, and how good He has been to you? (Matthew 5:16)
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

How well do you allow your relationship with God the Father to speak for itself, both in private and in public? I’m not speaking about the monetary things you have, but I’m speaking of the way you show Godly love towards others, the way you respond to others, and the way you talk and act when no one is watching. (Luke.12:2-3)The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

You may be asking yourself, what does that have to do with witnessing to others about God the Father and Jesus Christ?…
It actually has a lot to do with it fam! Because what you put in, will come out. That includes; private time spent with God, your time studying the Word, and even, how well you’re being Discipled.

Trust me when I say the actions you display, as well as the words coming out of your mouth will affect the people around you, whether you know it or not. They do!

Do you know that saying, “actions speak louder than words”, Well in your case, until you are shown to be more than a mouthpiece when it comes to Jesus, others’ faith will be undermined. Amen!
(Prov.18:21)Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say.

Remember that your actions are the most accurate reflection of your character and intentions. And eventually they will shine through! (Prov.10:9)Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.

If your persona does not reflect the love of Christ, but rather deceit, then any (Word) you speak regarding Jesus will be meaningless.

As you’ll discover this quickly in your daily walk with Jesus, that talking about Him to others only comes easy when they see the evidence of His character in your life!

Whenever you start talking about Jesus and the Kingdom of God, to those near or far, they’ll be looking for reasons to believe or not believe. So, get the conversation going by allowing your Godly character to speak for itself.. It’s in how you act, respond, smile (yes, even smile) and greet them that will make an engaging conversation last.

I said all that and still haven’t asked….. When was the last time you spoke to someone in or outside of your circle about Jesus? Look, I know that the word (Witnessing) is intimidating to some, and most try to avoid it at all cost. But, we were all told to GO….(John 20:21) Then Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you [as My representatives].” (Mark 16:15) And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

So, before we go any further. Let’s make it clear about what witnessing is…..

What is witnessing about when it comes to Jesus, and why do it? First, you should know that “witnessing” is just simply speaking on His behalf.
It’s sharing the truth about who He is, and how He has added more to your life while walking with Him as a friend, than without….(Psalm 34:8)Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

It’s about the truth you can offer when it comes to His defense… while being up close and personal with Him and being able to back up His character, and how He operates. For a better lack of words, a witness is a character card holder for the other person……That’s All!

Now that that’s explained, let’s move on, shall we.

When witnessing, people are either going to want to hear and be engaged, or be dismissive and walk away as if they don’t hear you.. But, for those that want to hear more, they’re going to want to see and know that the love of Jesus you’re preaching to them about, is the greatest thing that has ever happened to you! They’ll become engaged by the way you talk about Him, and in how He’s turned your life around, and is  the best friend you’ve always hoped for.

Speaking about Jesus and the Kingdom, is about letting others know what a great change He has made in your life. It’s your own personal testimony to how good He truly is when it comes to His love, His forgiveness, His grace, His mercy, and eternal life that’s been promised to all who will believe…Amen!

Witnessing should be that one act of service that comes like breathing. Meaning it should come easy to you. This isn’t the time to be anxious or scared to let someone know just how much Jesus loves them. Rebuke the Fear and speak with the Faith that’s on the inside of you……(Jam.2:17) So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.

So, make sure you are prayed up and have spoken to God before you start approaching people! He does know them best! Whether they accept Him or not! Make sure you ask Him to lead you, He knows where to send you! And, allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you, and have His way, Amen!

Remember this in everything you do – “That your faith can only take you as far as your belief will allow you to go”…

There shouldn’t be a day that goes by that you don’t want to shower someone with the love of Jesus. And, your love walk towards that person should be the first thing that’s noticed, no matter where you are or what you’re doing, because when you walk in love towards people, witnessing becomes a conversation, where the other person becomes open….(Eph.4:15)Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Wouldn’t you agree that it’s your duty to stay with clean hands at all times, by being real to who He is in you, and allowing others to see and gravitate towards that genuineness.

If you’re given unloving and cold, you’re going to get it back in return. if you’re giving off harsh and scary, you’re going to get a hard stare and head shake of disbelief … .if you give an ugly, unrelatable, unhappy spirit, they’ll run! Remember that! You get in return what you give out! So always have your flesh under the control of the Spirit, Amen!

Once again! Your actions mean everything! When speaking about Jesus! Yes, including your attitude…Allow the way you represent Him to others to be your living walking testimony! Even in the Grocery Store….

Speak No Empty Words Please!!! When it comes to
being God’s mouthpiece and allowing others to understand His love for them. As they hear you speak about Him, and how He delivered you and set you free it’ll make them want to know more about Jesus. The One who died for them and to know more about God, the One who sent Him!

Look, no one ever said that this part of your walk was going to be easy, because it’s not, but it is worth it! As well as necessary! Don’t you know that you can do all things through Christ! Including the power to let others know about who He is, while letting the Holy Spirit speak on His behalf! Amen!

So stand up, and step out, to let everyone know about the love of God, and the sacrifice He made for us, by sending His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ! Here to earth to be the propitiation for our sins! Just so we can be reconnected with Himself!!! It’s Called Reconciliation!!!! Hallelujah! Now that’s worth spreading, Amen!
