Does God Use Satan In His Children's Life,...

Does God Really Use Satan??

Can we agree that God is the Creator of all things?(Gen 1:31) Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! (a) And, that He was the Creator of Lucifer the (Light Bearer, Morning Star) who was later renamed Satan (Adversary)? (Read Ezekiel. 28) – (Isa.14:13-14) You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

In the Word of God, we are told that Lucifer was God’s creation, and that God intended him to be good. It states, “He was created “blameless” with wisdom and perfect beauty.”

As a result of Lucifer’s pride over his splendor, he wanted to be higher than God.(Ezekiel.28:15) You were blameless in your ways, from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. (Prov 16:18) Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

In spite of the fact that God created Lucifer, God did not create the evil he carried in his heart he chose to act upon. God is not the author of evil.

Nonetheless, He is sovereign over it! He can use the evil of man for His good. (Read Joseph’s Story – (Gen. 37) (Gen 50:20) And as for you, ye meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, (a)

As a result of Lucifer’s actions towards God, God ultimately casted him and his army of fallen angels out of heaven and down to earth. (Ezekiel 28:16-18; Luke 10:18; Revelation 12:9).

Lucifer chose that rebellious path on his own. He chose to become evil by choice, not by force. It certainly wasn’t God who implanted evil in his heart; he rebelled of his own accord.

This rebellion led Lucifer, God’s powerful anointed angel, to become dissatisfied, and he ceased to be the anointed cherub, God created him to be.

Lucifer now known as Satan! The enemy of mankind – The one who now strives to bring conflict and division to God’s children. Prowls!!! Peter tells us in (1 Pet.5:8)… .Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

As Satan prowls from place to place, he is always searching for weak, isolated, and vulnerable people who can be consumed.

Playing fair isn’t in his repertoire.

He never takes a day off or feels sympathy or pity for anyone. This is why it’s imperative for you as a believer to always have on the armour that is guaranteed to keep you protected! (Eph 6:10-18).

The good news though, is that his power is limited! He isn’t OMNIPRESENT, he isn’t OMNIPOTENT, he isn’t IMMUTABLE, as God is, and he isn’t ALL KNOWING!

Remember…..He too is a created being who still has to get permission from the Father to touch you, If you’re a believer!

One thing you must keep in mind is this…. We worship an All-Powerful, All-Present, and All-Knowing God! Whose Power holds no limits!! And, Satan for sure doesn’t possess those characteristics, Amen!

The only power or control Satan has in and over a believer’s life is the control you allow him to have.

Have you ever heard the saying “If God uses the enemy in your life for a setup, it’s always for a come up”… There goes another one of those made up manly sayings, that gets spread around and becomes a cliche….

I know that God can use Satan for whatever He chooses. However God doesn’t have to use Satan to set His children up for them to have a come up! As He says in (Eph 3:20 Glory belongs to God.. (a) )(Rom 11:36) For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.

The come up for you and I as His children is, us Getting “Saved!” And giving our lives to His Son Jesus Christ!

The come up for us is, Obeying His Word! And, Believing His Word for our lives!

The come up for us, is completing the assignment He sent us here to get accomplished, Amen!

Don’t get it twisted now, if a child of God, “chooses” to be disobedient to His way of living, and goes against His precepts and concepts, and their actions scream, “things of Satan,” then yes! God will allow Satan permission to shake things up in their life! (1 Cor 5:5 ; 11-12).

Shake things up enough to rattle them, to get them to examine their life and their actions towards God. And for them to see that it is out of His order. And, realize they must get it back on the right track with Him again.

Ultimately the choice is theirs …

It’s called Free Will!!

So, for anyone that belongs to God the Father, and thinks that Satan has a right or say so in their life, nope! That’s wrong thinking, because Satan can only do in your life what you allow him to do, or what God permits him to do, Amen!

So, is God the creator of evil? No. Man’s Sin and Disobedience brought about evil! The day Eve ate from that tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, and her husband along with her! Yeah, the tree they were forbidden to eat from…. is when the trouble started!

Even though the Word says in (Isa. 45:7) I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Evil comes from man, but God will allow, frame, or render evil in a way to bring about good. In (Jeremiah 18:11), when God says He “frames evil,” it is to call His people to repentance and to restore them to good works and into a right relationship with Him. In (Jeremiah 51:24), when God “renders” unto Babylon “all their evil,” this was God’s use of man’s evil as a way of judgment upon an evil nation!(https://reasonsforhopejesus.com

Yes, He created all things, but not the evil of sin. God brings punishment on sin!

God hates sin! “He is light and in Him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).

God forbids sin! God judges sin! Jesus gave himself up for our sins! And suffered to do so. (Gal 1:4) Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father (1 Pet. 2:24) He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

God does not, and will never Promote sin! Put Up With sin! Back sin! or Agree to it! (Psalm 5:4) For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Neither shall evil dwell with thee.

It’s people’s sins that result in punishments that God allows instead of causes. God doesn’t do evil to anyone! (Jam 1:13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

One day and one day soon! God will bring all sin and evil to an end! (1 John 3:8) the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

Be Blessed…
