Question: Can you confess Jesus Christ as Lord one minute, denounce Him years later, become an atheist, and still believe you’ll make it to Heaven? Do you believe, Once Saved, Always Saved?
Is it possible to deceive your heart by the words you speak out of your mouth? (James 1:26) If anyone thinks himself to be religious [scrupulously observant of the rituals of his faith], and does not control his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless (futile, barren).
I ask that question, because this is what the people of today have succumbed to, those that once believed in Jesus Christ…
And, If you’re one, who hasn’t denounced your faith, but are still living the same way as you used to live prior to confessing Jesus, then does your assertion that “God knows my heart” excuse your sin? Do you think it makes your sinning any less dishonorable by saying that? (John 14:15) “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.
It’s crazy how people are getting saved today just to say they are, but have no relationship, no dedication or obedience to God’s Biblical regulations! Which reverts back to my asking… “Is it possible to deceive your heart by the words you speak out of your mouth?”
Remember that your relationship with God should be one of wanting Him, wanting to please Him, and wanting to obey Him, not the opposite! The opposite of dishonor, disrespect, and disobedience that’s leading you on that path toward that broad gate.(Matthew 7:13-14) “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Listen, if you’re on that road of dishonor, disrespect, and disobedience, don’t be surprised when you find yourself hearing, “Turn from Me, for I never knew you!” (Matthew 7:21)“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
Be careful who you listen to. Don’t believe Satan’s lies, that you’ll be fine without Jesus… And, that you can avoid HELL without confessing Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Believe that if you want to!!! (John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (1 Timothy 2:5-6) For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.
The thoughts behind and in front of that type of thinking, is from no other than Satan himself! (Isa.26:3) You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Yeah, it’s him! Your enemy! Trying everything in his power to interject with you getting to know the Father! Chasing you around like the desperate Foe, he is! Trying to get you not to follow Jesus!! (Isa.44:24) “I am the LORD, your savior; I am the one who created you. I am the LORD, the Creator of all things. I alone stretched out the heavens; when I made the earth, no one helped me.
If you don’t know, you better know that Satan’s #1 goal is to make people believe that Jesus isn’t going to accept them if they cannot fulfill the perfect, straight-forward life that Jesus lived and God honored without sin. But! He came to save the lost. (Luk 19:10) Indeed, the Son of Man has come to seek and to save people who are lost.” (1 John 1:8 )If we say we have not sinned, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth isn’t in our hearts. (Romans 3:23) for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;(Revelation 15:4) Who shall not reverence and glorify Your name, O Lord [giving You honor and praise in worship]? For You only are holy.
God knew we couldn’t do it on our own, that’s why He sent Jesus….Amen! (Eph.5:1-2) Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Now!!! Does God expect His followers to be obedient to His Word, to walk in love, honor and serve Him with their life, YES! (1 Peter 2:17) Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear (reverence) God, and respect the king.
SO, DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE…
There are so many Pastors preaching that, “once you’re saved ,” that you can’t lose your salvation. And yes, that is true as the Word of God speaks, But, does that still stand if you turn your back on your relationship with God and begin serving someone or something else as your God? Can your Heavenly dwelling place be forfeited? (Matthew 24:10-12) And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.
All you have to do is read about Lucifer and a third of the angels that went with him….How they no longer believed in what God’s plan was or their purpose! And, where are they now? Outside of the Will of God! Eternal home address… HELL (Rev.12:7-9)
