Who Will You Tag

TAG, YOUR IT….

Tag, I’m It….. Tag I’m It for what? you might be asking.

Tag your It, for what you as a believer has been called to do.

And, that is to encourage and lift one another up as it states to do in (1 Thes 5:11) So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

We as believers are told to do that. Are we doing that? a little encouragement can go a very long way. ( I know it has for me).

Sometimes we have to take our minds off of our current situations and put it in the care of another’s. And, we’re not suppose to be carrying around our care anyways as it states in(1 Peter 5:7) Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

I say this to those of you that are stronger than some.

We must face it “there are some brother’s and sister’s in Christ that are being weighed down by their current circumstances.

Why? because they do not know how to release and let go”………Not saying that those persons are lower than you because their fight isn’t as strong as yours.

I’m just saying sometimes they need to know that they have someone there for them backing them up in Intercessory prayer (2 Corinthians 1:11) you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many.

Most of the times you will not know that a person is carrying a care concerning a certain situation, and this is why we must stay connected to God and have a heart for Him, so we can know when we are being directed to pray for someone.

God will instruct you to pray for someone without even speaking to them.

Do you know what you can do for someone by just making a simple phone call to say” you love them” without having to ask a thing ( or more candidly “be nosey”).

God, if need be, will inform you of what’s going on, for you to pray about it, not gossip about it.

It’s those little tugs at the heart that will inform you that something is not right and a prayer needs to go up for a specific person.

And it might even call for you to stay in that prayer you sent up for a while, with thanksgiving and Praise to God for Him to release into that person’s life what you have already sent up in prayer.

FYI – Our gifts were not giving to us for us, but, to us for His people that need them at any giving time.

God doesn’t want us sitting around doing nothing for the body of Christ, We are called Christ believers for a reason, and that is to help the body of Christ.

Yes, to help His people who are struggling in Christ, that can’t help themselves at that moment in time, no matter what that struggle may be.

We are told to pray in agreement with someone else(Mat. 18:19-20)“Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; A no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.”
We are told to look out for other’s (Phili. 2:3-4)Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

let’s also stay mindful of the Orphans, and the widows as well as those sick and shut in.

We are told to pray for them all aren’t we?

No matter where you are or where you’re not in Christ, He loves us all, and He wants all of us to be aware of His presence at all times.

So, remember those that are struggling in their prayer lives and not knowing how to wholeheartedly stand on God’s word for themselves, lift fhem up in prayer, because they might just really need it.

Be Blessed….

  1. Heavenly Father, You know every challenge I face. Help me to learn to cherish and make time to simply sit at Your feet and be in Your presence. Teach me how to discipline my steps and invest my time in a way that pleases You and honors the plan You have for my life. In Jesus name, AMEN.
