THE HOLY SPIRIT CRYING OUT

Have you ever experienced a sudden cry from out of nowhere?
Did it confuse you at first?
Did you want to know why?
Back in the year of 2008 my husband and I went to visit some friends.

As we visited with them, I went over and touched the shoulder of the woman we was visiting, and as I touched her she screamed out, and immediately went into praying in the Spirit, rocking back and forth in her seat.

Baffled and not understanding what was going on, we all just started praying and speaking in the Spirit as well.
As I was praying, the Spirit of God’s presence made Himself aware, that He was front and center.(James 4:10)Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

I started groaning, moaning, screaming, and crying, all at the same time. (Acts 2:4)And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The room was filled with a very heavy presence of God, His Spirit.(Exodus 40:30)Then the cloud [the Shekinah, God’s visible, dwelling presence] covered the Tent of Meeting,( her kitchen) and the glory and brilliance of the LORD filled the tabernacle( her home)…[added my experience for that time]……

Over a period of time, the crying stopped, and the woman who I had touched started talking, and saying, that when I touched her, an electric shock came into her body as if God Himself had touched her.

She then went on to say that, she had never experienced anything like that before and, that was the reason why she couldn’t stop speaking in Tongues.
As she continued back, to thanking God, and speaking in the Spirit, the Lord put a word in my mouth.

I just started speaking about things that were going on in that residence I had no clue about.

Through me, God told this woman what needed to happen on the upper part of her home, and how it needed to be anointed with oil, and prayed over(Luke 10:19) “Behold, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy and to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall injure you.

He also said, whoever was staying in that room needed to come out. And at that time, infant babies were in that room…
After that prophetic word of God was spoken, the woman started explaining to my husband and I, how strange things were taking place in that room.

She went on to say that there was a presence of heaviness in there that was not Gods presence, and how those that stayed in there felt as if they were being watched while in there(Ephesians 6:12) “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Not only that, but how there was a cold presence that could be felt. That room stayed cold, she said(Ephesians 6:11)Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
So much was revealed that day and all was confirmation to what God had spoken through me.
I told this story for one reason and one reason only, and that is to help someone else understand, “how in the time of prayer the Holy Spirit will cry out.”

Cry out through you to help someone else….

This is called you standing in the gap.(1 Timothy 2:1)First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people,

Don’t try to ignore what’s taking place in that moment or, think that you’re just a Spiritual mess.

No! this is happening through you, because He’s using you…

That crying that’s coming from deep within is the weeping of the Holy Spirit…….Prophetic Intercession (I will get into this at another time)…in another blog..

Not for one moment let the devil have you think that it’s hormones, or that it’s depression, or that you’re just going crazy…rebuke those thoughts and give God the glory for seeing you fit to be used.

We must be mindful that the Holy Spirit in us wants to use us, and that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds“(2 cor 10:4) We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

We have to allow ourselves to be open to the crying out, that the Holy Spirit wants to do through us, it’s not a time to harden our hearts (Heb. 3:7-8)That is why the Holy Spirit says,“Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness.

It’s not for us to try and stop the Holy Spirit from crying out through us for someone else’s good.

This is something you must expect when you pray on other people’s behalf, just know that (Rom. 8:26-27) says it all.And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

As we allow the Holy Spirit to cry out through us, we should be praying for the things in which the Spirit within us is crying out and speak it the way the Lord wants it to come through us, ( with clarity and understanding) (2 cor.4:6) – For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shown in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

(Romans 8:28) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

When those tears and deep spiritual groaning’s happen to come upon you, allow it!! and embrace it!! with all of who you are, and let Him take control.
